Optimum Fleet Recommendation

A decision for selecting and purchasing new mining or quarry equipment must usually be made without the luxury of a pre-test. Komatsu Application Engineers can provide accurate simulations to assist customers in this process.
Optimum Fleet Recommendation
Job Site Measurement

Komatsu-trained application engineers visit the customer’s job sites to gather the necessary information and perform on-site measurements. This includes production & haul road characteristics, as well as material data and working regime. In existing jobsites, current operations are also observed to establish the base for further analysis.

Optimum Fleet Recommendation
Job Site Observation

When a customer plans to open a new quarry, renew equipment or increase  production, Komatsu can offer a solution with its Optimum Fleet Recommendation (OFR)  program.

Based on the site’s operating conditions and the customer's preferences and production expectations, OFR helps to determine the most efficient fleet for the job.

Recommendation
After running the different simulations, the application engineer bundles the findings into a recommendation based on facts and figures. This is then reported to the customer.

Analysis
The application engineer feeds the collected data into Komatsu's very own  simulation program, which also features accurate competitor machine data. Its flexibility allows to easily change any parameter, helping to run various simulations. The “What ifs” are easily processed and the results are always founded on sound engineering principles and accurate physical data.
